Established in 2005 by Ricardo and Ines Hoffmann, the Berlin based band Saline Grace is known for their ability of creating pictorial synaesthesias.

On the one hand they raise nightly panoramas from imaginatively enraptured roadmovies or evoke wild and near-natural sceneries of wide forests, barren wastelands as well as fathomless oceans, but on the other hand there is Ricardo Hoffmann’s outstanding lyricism, unique philosophical poetry and uncomfortable social criticism.

Saline Grace’s antiquated arrangements, mainly consisting of a mandoline-like guitar, twang or slide guitar sounds, bass, piano, organ, concertina, singing saw and dark jazz drums, draw marvellously attention to singer and composer Ricardo Hoffmann’s emotional baritone.
